SOAK'D OATS Carbon Reduction Project.

Eat Well, Without Guilt

It has always been the plan from the beginning. To not only create a wholesome, honest, good-for-you product, but to also live by those ideas. That is why in 2023 we have put together our Carbon Reduction Project.

Completed Carbon Reduction Initiatives

Currently our emissions are very low, but as we grow, we naturally expect to increase our emissions.

Our current reduction commitments include purchasing renewable energy where possible, using petrol, low/medium emission vehicles and having zero product waste. More than 50% of all products produced are in 100% recyclable material. We encourage our manufacturers to employ locally, have car share initiatives and offer a coach pickup/drop off services.

Emissions Reduction & Off-Set Targets

In order to continue our progress to achieving Net Zero, we have adopted the following carbon reduction targets.

We project that our carbon emissions will decrease over the next five years to 3.5 tCO2e by 2028. This is a reduction of 10%

We will off set our total carbon emissions via Switch2Zero to the total of 10 tCO2e per year, resulting in a complete off set of emissions.

We will strive to go beyond carbon neutrality by aiming to create a positive impact on the environment, giving back more than we take. We will start this by planting 100 trees annually to the total off set of 2 tCO2e a year rolling.

We will switch to fully renewable energy sources in all areas our company has direct control over.

Committing to Net Zero by 2050

Whilst offsetting emissions is a wonderful way to help regenerate and sustain already effected areas, we believe it's not enough. In order to see real environmental improvement, we all need to think about how we can achieve zero emissions. It seems like a difficult task, but one we are committing to. Over the next 27 years as we grow in size as a company, we commit to reducing our emissions along the way, to the point where we are Net Zero by 2050.
